ClarityTV Media Inc. (“ClarityTV,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. This policy is written to comply with Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial privacy legislation.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

• Account information: name, email address, billing address and payment method when you purchase a plan.
• Support information: messages, attachments and contact details you provide when you email us, use the contact form, or chat with our team.
• Technical information: IP address, device type, operating system, app version and general usage logs required to deliver and secure the service.
• Cookies & analytics: aggregated, non-identifying analytics to understand how visitors use the site and improve it.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain and improve the ClarityTV service;
• Authenticate accounts, prevent fraud and enforce our Terms of Service;
• Process payments and issue receipts, refunds or renewals;
• Respond to support requests and communicate updates about your account;
• Send occasional service announcements (you may opt out of marketing emails at any time);
• Meet our legal, regulatory and tax obligations in Canada.

3. Cookies & Similar Technologies

We use a small number of cookies for essential site functionality (e.g., session handling, remembering preferences) and for privacy-friendly analytics that do not track you across other sites. You can disable cookies in your browser at any time; some parts of the site may not function correctly if you do.

4. Third Parties & Service Providers

We share personal information only with service providers who help us operate ClarityTV — for example, payment processors, email delivery providers and customer-support tooling. These providers are contractually bound to use your information only to perform services for us and to protect it with appropriate safeguards. We do not sell your personal information to anyone.

5. Legal Disclosures

We may disclose information when required to do so by Canadian law, a valid court order, or to protect the rights, property or safety of ClarityTV, our users or the public.

6. Data Retention

We keep account and billing information for as long as your plan is active and afterwards for the period required by Canadian tax and consumer- protection law. Support tickets are typically retained for up to 24 months. You may request deletion of your account at any time (see Section 8).

7. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards — including TLS encryption in transit, encrypted storage at rest, access controls and audit logging — to protect your personal information. No system is 100% secure, but we work continuously to reduce risk and respond quickly to any incident.

8. Your Rights

Under PIPEDA and applicable provincial laws you have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you;
• Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information;
• Withdraw consent or request deletion of your account;
• File a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

To exercise any of these rights, email support@claritytv.ca from the address associated with your account and we will respond within 30 days.

9. Children

ClarityTV is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have, please contact us and we will delete it.

10. International Users

ClarityTV is operated from Canada. If you access the service from outside Canada, you understand that your information may be transferred to, stored in and processed in Canada.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with a new “Last updated” date and, when appropriate, announced via email.
